IU seeks to train the next generation of industry, government, academic, and civil society leaders; to generate research and knowledge that can help solve major global challenges; and to work in close collaboration with partners both locally and globally to improve our society. The Office of the Vice President for International Affairs promotes global engagement at IU across all aspects of the university’s mission.
Our Gateway offices serve as portals that link IU students and faculty to opportunities around the world, and that connect internationally based students, alumni, and partners to IU.
